September WordPress DC Meetup Recap

We had the September 2010 WordPress DC meetup last night. It was at the MLK Library in Chinatown. This month’s meetup was titled “What I learned at WordCamp MidAtlantic”. We had a good crowd (about a dozen people) with some new faces and some familiar faces as well.

I only had one problem with last night; there were no outlets in the room, nor was there any WiFi. For all of that, I #BlameNacin (who did not make an appearance, by the way).

Here’s the roll call of the people who were there (let me know if I forgot anybody, or if you have a site to link to):

And, of course, I was there (but you already know where to find me). The crowd was enthusiastic and brimming with questions and thoughts on WordCamp. After we went through the WordCamp Mid-Atlantic schedule, we had just general Q&A time and then headed over to Ella’s Pizza for some food and drink.

We’ve had some good ideas go up on the meetup site, so head over there and throw your two cents in. We don’t have all the details for the October meetup worked out yet, so if you’ve got an idea for a meetup for next month, let us know there.
